Sun: MMT, London and Dymchurch

Well Steph, you are very lucky to be going to Croatia in not long!
I love England, I really do, but it's been raining and raining and raining! There have been a few glimpses of the sun now and again, but other than that...bluuurgh!
Anyway, We went on the Magical Mystery Tour(bloody tourists we are!) on the 6th. I felt really stupid once we got on the bus, but after a while, I was so carried away, that I didn't mind running up in front of everyone just to take pictures of george Harrison's house:p
Here are some pictures:

This is outside of George Harrison's first home...

The Magical Mystery Tour bus:) Is it bad that I don't feel imbarrased by saying that?
yes... Figure this one out for yourself;)
John Lennon's house where he lived with his aunt.

A really bad picture of where Paul McCartney lived.
Again, speaks for itself;)
Somewhere down this road is the house where Ringo Starr grew up.
These were outside the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool.

The Cavern Club!

My brother brought a little souvenir from Strawberry Field (the leaf).
the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Kinks and the Arctic Monkeys! Now THAT'S a concert I'd die for!

And exactly 32 years later Anje was born! Just a little fun-fact:p
I bought me a Beatles poster:D:D

So I realise this is kind of tacky, I mean, going for long busrides just to look at the house where someone you've never met once lived?
What can I say, first of all my mother booked us for this trip, and it wasn't all that special, but it was nice going to the cavern club and stuff though:)
I'm really happy I went after all.
So after spending some time in the cavern club etc. we drove our car towards London.
It took us about six hours, and the landscape was beautiful!
Then we arrived at my auntie Chris' house in Custom House not too far from Westham, on the east side of London. My auntie is really nice! Of course she had prepared a huge dinner for us, which I couldn't eat, 'cause I was so tired.
We took the tube down to London city centre and spent some time there... Not too much to talk about, so we'll just jump over to this morning, when we drove off to Dymchurch, where my great grandmother, great grandfather and my aother auntie Yvonne lie buryed.
We're staying at an old inn called "the Ship inn". This used to be a stopover for smugglers and pirates about 200-300 years ago, and I'm positive it's haunted!
I'm actually lying in our hotel room all alone. When I think about it, I'm shit scared right now!
There are so many noises in the house, and you can litterly hear your neighbour fart. Or worse…
Anyway:p
Tomorrow we'll be going to Brighton! I can't wait!
I'm working on your gift Steph!! Already done with the Beatles part, although I'm not sure I'm that happy with it, but I'm working on it;)
So I'll update tomorrow when we arrive in Brighton:)
Kisses!

Steph: Sunny!!

lucky you!! I also want to Dance to Joy Division in Liverpool;) It's actually sun and 27 degreeds in Bergen and i've just sunbathed all day and got a litle tan;)

Yeasterday i whent rowing in our little wooden bout and it was so nice and airy on the fjord..;)

On the fjord with David

on the fjord later with mom

Theres been sunny for many days now, but they said that it would rain tomorow so i tried to enjoy the sun while it is here;)

Sun: I'm back in Liverpool ande everything seems the same...

Ok, that had nothing to do with my situation, except that I actually AM in Liverpool:)
(the title is from the song "Let's Dance To Joy Division" by the Wombats, for those of you who didn't get it;))

It's great! I landed here yesterday afternoon at John Lennon Airport, which was wicked! haha! But I can't help feeling sorry for Paul McCartney though... They should name it Lennon/McCartney Airport, or even the Beatles Airport, just to make it fair to all of them:p. From the Airport, we rented a car, and drove to Aighburth, to live at my stepfather's friend's apartment. Later on we went for a little walk to go to the shops and buy some things.

A Not so flattering picture of me and my sister on our way into the airport.

I Liked this car:p It's an old taxi, and it said: Turner Prize '07...hint
Some pictures on the walls at the airport.
Mum, of course, had to take a picture of me and my sister in front of the John Lennon statue...
A plaque at the airport.
haha! This was outside the airport!
People keep saying that the British are so ugly, but let me tell you, I've seen SO many good looking boys (and girls) during my stay! But that might just be my taste though:p I was also quite pleased to see that most people actually are shorter than me! People my age that is;)
Today we took the bus to the city centre and went in to a couple of shops. Then we went down to the docks and looked at some sailing boats. And THEN.... we went to the Beatles museum! Haha, I've been a real tourist! And tomorrow we're going to take the Macical Mystery Tour through Liverpool to see where the members of the Beatles were born, grew up or even picked their noses:p Mum's actually been the one who's planned everything! She keeps telling people: "We're going to Liverpool to let Sunniva have an outlet of her Beatles-obsession...etc." But I think she's really trying to hide that fact that she really wants to go to these attractions herself...
So now I'm home after an exhausting day out, and tomorrow we'll drive for four hours to London.
After the Magical Mystery Tour that is...:)

Sun: Monty Python

I'm sorry, I was just really bored, as you might have understood by my last post, and I was once again watching these comedy clips on YouTube (from Norwegian comedy shows) and I came over this Monty Python clip whitch is just great! It's not particulary funny, it's just that Eric Idle is supposed to be talking in Norwegian, and he doesn't know what he's doing!
I know it seems a bit dorky, but since Norway is such a small country, and we didn't really have that big influence on the rest of the world at that time, it's fun to see them mentioning us:D
I've also seen a Monkees episode where they bring up Norway, but I can't remember what episode that was...
Anyway, I'll post the clip, and another of my favourite Python clips just for you:)
